What is hypnosis? Read more
Hypnosis is a state when your body is being physically very relaxed while your mind stays very focused. It could be described as last awaken state before falling asleep. Hypnosis is a state of trance. We go in and out of hypnosis all day long. There are several types of trance: light trance (when you miss an exit on a freeway, or tune out while listening to someone), medium trance (a little more relaxed state, for example you could be laying in bed still consciously present while falling asleep, and the phone rings in the other room, you hear it ringing but too relaxed to get up), deep trance (can also be called deep somnambulism. Example: you almost fell asleep but you haven’t entered unconscious state completely yet. You are not really present, and will probably not be able to recall if you hear anything or anyone talk to you during this state) – this kind of trance state is widely used by doctors nowadays to perform surgeries with little or no anesthesia, this tool is great especially for those who doesn’t handle anesthesia very well. And usually this is one of the trance types that the therapist would use as well in order to help you to make changes that you want.

Since hypnosis is a very relaxed state, the first thing it can do for you is simply teach you how to relax. You might be surprised but some people go through their entire lives not knowing how to relax even for 5 minutes. That means that their whole body and mind is constantly in overload from all of the information, that’s bombarding our brains 24/7 through our five senses: sight, hear, feel, smell and taste. So, if nothing else, you can use hypnosis to clear your mind, release tension and stresses, and let your body and mind balance itself out using the most natural drug on earth – deep physical and mental relaxation.
Besides simple relaxation, hypnosis is used to alter one’s behavioral pattern. It’s found to be one of the most effective natural treatments in the world for quitting smoking, fears and phobias as well as confidence building, weight loss and much more. It can be used for tremendous amount of different things (issues).
Hypnosis has been around for 7000 years, if something stays around for that long, it must be serving something good to humanity.
What is the difference between meditation and hypnosis? Read more
Some people say that there is practically no difference between the two. I would suggest that differences lay in the purposes for using both. The purpose of meditation is to clear your mind, that simply helps to release daily stress, relax physically, calm down and regulate the emotional and mental health of a mind. The purpose of hypnosis is a change. We apply to hypnotherapy when there is a desire to change something in our lives, our behavior or just understand why certain things happen to us in the way they do. Taking that into consideration, you can choose what is it that you really think you need. Both treatments are based on complete mental and physical relaxation.
Can I be hypnotized against my will? Read more
You can never be hypnotized against your will. In fact, during the hypnosis session you always have an opportunity to get up and leave if you want so. Chances are you will probably not want to leave, because of the relaxation that your body gets. It is the most natural drug on earth. Something like after a very good relaxing massage. The misconceptions about hypnosis mostly come from media: TV shows, or stage hypnosis shows, when you see a guy in a black suit making people quack like a duck or bark like a dog. But this is why they call it a show. And, on top of that, have media ever lie to us before? (bark like a dog if you say ‘no’). Again, what these people do on stage is strictly entertainment. As long as they play along with the show man – they will be on stage. As soon as they stop, they are usually sent back into the room. You will see that if you pay attention to how these people are selected during the show.
During WWII they’ve done a study by Russian marines. That study was about some special hypno-training when they used best hypnotists in the world to train soldiers to run against bullets (to make them “to forget” fear). There was massive hypnotic influence and brainwash used of course (we’ll talk about brainwash later and what it takes to brainwash someone), so in that study soldiers were quite suggestible to do most of the commands the hypnotists gave them with pretty no fear but they could never make them run against bullets. Why? You Unconscious Mind’s main purpose is to preserve your body and mind. Running against a bullet is against Unconscious mind’s values. And it would never do anything that is against it’s values and/ or life threatening . Soldiers weren’t able to run against bullets because their Unconscious Mind stopped them in order to protect them.
If something is going against life saving mode that is programmed in your mind from birth, no one can change that, not even you. No matter what type of therapy you are using, you are not a zombie with no brains, you are a human and your both conscious and unconscious minds are on YOUR side.

Try NOT to think of a pink elephant. Congratulations, you just hypnotized yourself.
Here is the great EXERCISE: Now, go ahead and close your eyes for a minute (or keep them open, doesn’t really matter) and visualize, pretend or imagine that you are standing right in front of the fridge in your own kitchen, and for a second just allow yourself to stand there and glance at the fridge, notice what color it is, what shape it is, look at the handle on the door, see what it looks like, look at your feet, feel the air coming from right under the fridge, hear the sound of a fan. Now, go ahead and reach out to the handle and feel the coolness of it in your hand, open the door, see the lights go on and notice the big beautiful fruit jar right in the middle of the shelf. Now, go ahead, reach out and pick a nice yellow fresh juicy lemon, feel it’s oily smooth skin texture in your hand, now turn around, walk up to the cutting board, grab a knife and slice it in half. Now, hear the crusty sound of the breaking skin, smell the citrus and fresh juicy lemon smell, now grab one half, bring it all the way to your nose, and bite right into it. Now, open your eyes, is your mouth salivating now? Congratulations, you have just hypnotized yourself. All you did you’ve imagined lemon and your body physically reacted to it. That’s just to show you that your mind doesn’t know the difference between the fantasy and the reality and your body physically responds to your mind’s commands much like a robot… And this is exactly what hypnosis is like. Physical response and projection into reality of a thought with an image.
How fast will I see the results? Read more
Depends on the depth of an issue your results may vary. You have to be committed, because Hypnotherapy is not a do-to process, it’s a do-with process and that is why it works so well. When you go to psychologist, you work on your conscious mind, when you come to a hypnotist you work on your Unconscious mind. When you come to us – we work with both, building rapport in between the too, so the results become permanent and long lasting. Your success will depend on your desire to get well. While working with us, on top of the powerful re-programming hypnotherapy sessions you are also provided with easy-to-follow techniques, simple motivational and confidence building tasks and coaching guidance. This approach quickly teaches your conscious mind to work for you, not against you. So that when you do want to create a change in the future, the unconscious mind (which is responsible for that inner voice) is going to help you to motivate you instead of arguing with you and telling you that you can’t.
If you want to get rid of 30-year habits or unwanted behavior and it’s patterns faster – be ready to put in more effort and follow directions. Your success will depend on it directly. None of our behavioral patterns are being created overnight. It’s a life long process of, first, creating our beliefs and then making them our daily reality. All our lives we practically hypnotize ourselves into having our issues by believing in them for many many years. By saying the same negative things to ourselves like “who am I to have that”, “I can’t have that”, “I am not strong enough”, “Other people are more talented, more lucky than me” and reinforcing them day day out. So, considering the above, it would be fare to say that in our sessions we will not be hypnotizing you, we will be doing the opposite, de-hypnotizing you from your own beliefs that you once created for yourself and trapped yourself in the world of illusional limitations.
